The Sticks Family would like to take this time to thank all our members and loyal customers for making our vision of an upscale cigar lounge a reality! We are humbled by all the love and support we have received in our first 2 years and want to show our appreciation on August 21st by celebrating our Anniversary with you, whom none of our success could have been possible, had it not been for you!!!
When smoking a cigar, people sometimes sit alone and let their imagination run wild, or sit in groups and have brainstorming sessions, other times a good smoke is accompanied simply by a good laugh or the vibes of music. Over the years we spent time smoking and continued to imagine better ways to improve the experience and think of scenarios to create the ultimate upscale setting, both indoor and outdoor.
In August 2017 we opened our retail location on Main Street in Downtown Rahway, NJ one block from the Rahway Train Station. We started out with an 30 cigar cabinets and by October 2018 we installed a walk in humidor with an assortment of 150 cigars. The following month just in time for winter we added an outdoor retractable awning and heaters to accommodate outdoor seating all year round.
In August 2018 The Sticks Brand launched Sticks Cigars
"El Primero" Cigar. Our El Primero is offered in two sizes, a Gran Toro and Robusto. In April 2019 the El Primero received a rating of 93 by Stogie Press! Our dream became reality!
Pete Johnson, the owner of Tatuaje Cigars came to visit Sticks Cigars Lounge and shared a smoke with our co-founder Dan Nina to discuss the vibe in Rahway that is spreading throughout the NYC metropolitan area. As if the visit from Pete Johnson wasn’t enough, Pete was on the cover of Cigar Journal next issue (Summer 2019). Sticks Cigars was featured in the same issue, where Cigar Journal stated “The New Jersey cigar trade is experiencing a renaissance“

Today, El Primero is sold at 5 different locations, High End Cigars, Cave Cigars, Harlem Cigar Room, Maduaro Cigars, and in Pennsylvania at Suburban Cigar Room.
